Mercedes-Benz SL320 V6 Auto Convertible [R129], supplied brand new by Greenoaks Mercedes-Benz of Ascot on Friday 21st July 2000, and maintained since with a comprehensive history with 14 services on file, 12 with Mercedes-Benz.
Previously supplied by us, this is a fastidiously maintained and cherished motor car. The former two previous registered owners were husband and wife, due to bereavement.
Exterior is in excellent condition, the paintwork has a fabulous deep lustre with only a few minor blemishes. Soft-top is in great condition and looks nearly new. Hard-top with panoramic glass roof is in good condition with only two minor blemishes at lower edge but this does not detract from the fine finish, and comes with stand and protective bag.
Interior is excellent throughout, the high quality materials and craftsmanship can be felt from the luxurious soft black leather seats, to the seamless operation of the electric roof.
The smooth six cylinder 3199cc V6 engine with 224PS, 315 Nm of torque is capable of a quoted 0-60 mph in 7.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 150 mph. Combined with a 5 speed automatic gearbox the smoothness and refinement is glorious and will suit both leisurely and eager drivers alike.
The stunning AMG staggered alloy wheels (wider at the rear) are fitted with matching Continental Contisport Contact 3 tyres, 275/35/R18 at the rear, and 245/40/R18 at the front with excellent tread. Additionally the spare wheel is fitted with Continental tyre.
